EARLY YEARS FOUNDATION STAGE

Per the British National Curriculum Stages, Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) sets standards for learning, development and care of your child from birth to 5 years of age. This consist of Pre-school and Nursery. KIS Nurseries are from 6months to 3yrs, whilst the preschoolers are between the ages of 3years – 5years.

  • Literacy
  • Mathematics
  • Understanding the world
  • Expressive arts and design

ASSESSMENTS

Your child's progress will be reviewed when they are 2 and 3 years by an early year’s practitioner or health visitor.

Their class facilitator will assess them at the end of the school year when they turn 5years.

The assessment is based on classroom observation of the child.
